Objective
The website should support three languages: Ukrainian, Russian and German. One of the key features would be the integration of a photo gallery to store and display photos from their events. In addition, the site should be able to publish news in each thematic section and have a form for accepting charitable contributions.
It is also necessary to transfer a large amount of news content from the previous version of the site. The goal of this project is to provide an effective means of keeping the community connected to its members and interested audiences.
Development
At the design stage, we focused on creating a warm and friendly interface to make users feel comfortable interacting with the website. We developed a logical navigation structure that includes sections dedicated to the activities of the Council of Germans in Ukraine, a library with documents and publications, social and cultural initiatives, and the historical background of the German community in Ukraine.
For the front-end development, we used HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to implement responsive design, interactive elements, and animations that improve the user experience.
Outcome
A user-friendly and informative portal was created to bring ethnic Germans together, providing them with access to useful information and opportunities. The website has a modern and friendly interface that is easily adaptable to different devices. Users can easily find important information about events and programs, which promotes active community participation.
